Installing Linux onto an oldworld powermac over network.
Is there an oldworld-friendly distribution which can be interactively installed over a network? (perhaps via telnet, ssh, or vnc?)
I recently received a PowerMac 7600/132, and would like to put Linux on it. The machine uses a DB15 connector for its monitor instead of the DB15HD most modern monitors support. I might be able to get a DB15 monitor in a few days. Even if I do,
though, the room is pretty crowded. It would be awesome if this could be done entirely over a network.
I saw that Fedora offers some sort of vnc-based installation, but I also saw that they don't support oldworld macs.
