noobish queistion, wireless networking
I'm hoping to run Gentoo Linux..Please forgive me for the noobish post. I've searched a lot online and can't get a good, straight answer.
I have a D-link DWL-520 Revision E1 wireless card that uses the Prism 2.5 Chipset. I have the Gentoo Minimal LiveCD that boots up nicely. When I try to establish the networking to pull the stage 3 tarball off of the net to install Gentoo, I can't get the bootup to auto-detect my wireless card. I'm going to assume that I use something like HostAP as a driver- most of the help sites describe how to get the networking up and running after the Gentoo is installed.
How do I search for the driver located within the minimal LiveCD so that I can get it up and running?
I'm looking for a step-by step approach.
Thanks!
