VMWare ESX Server 2.5
Hey all,
This IS on topic, FYI, just because VMWare ESX Server 2.5 runs on top of RedHat. :)
Anyone have any experience with this fine product? I'm trying to find a way to hack its config so I can utilize my ATA drives in place of the required SCSI drives for my virtual servers. The requirements specifically state that I need to run all of the virtual servers off SCSI/RAID/Fiber Channel storage devices, but I don't have any left. Is there a way I can trick RedHat into displaying my ATA drives as if they were SCSI drives?
Thanks in advance! Any ideas are appreciated.
