Wacom enabled apps?

About a month ago (after Christmas sale) I got a Wacom Intuos3 6x8. After a day or wrangling I got it working with Gimp so it would even register the tilt of the pen.

I love it. I can't say enough good things about it.

But now I'm wanting more than Gimp seems to be able to offer.

Are there any illustrator type application for Linux that can use the Wacom tablet (including the pressure and tilt sensitivity) and can do what I guess you would call textured strokes? Strokes that go on unevenly like a pencil shows the texture of the paper or painting will often show the text of the brush (including the uneven starts and ends of strokes)?

Anyway, the Wacom is amazing. I highly recommend it.
