linux laptop?

thinking about nabbing a cheap laptop (<200mhz, not much ram, does need ethernet and/or pcmcia though so I can at least use it ^_~) and was wondering what would be best if I were to just use it as an x terminal for browsing while in bed, etc. key here is price and linux support
