more on vnc...

I used VNC briefly some years ago with a windows server. It was really cool in that you could actually take control of the interface.

I've now managed to get something with the program to work (that is, I can open an xterm, but I'm not actually controling the current session remotely).

Is what I want to do actually possible?

My goal is to be able to have a wife friendly interface to a media box sitting next to the tv... The idea is that she can log in via vnc and control the machine from across the room from her spiffy new mac.


Is there a better way?
