a laptop story

For those of yoou who keep track of such things I just got Linare Linux to install flawlessly onto a toshiba satelite 1800-s274. It's a sub par laptop, IMO, and the Linare install was painless. I didn't even touch it. Linare is also really user friendly if you come from a windows environment, obviously. I won't be using it myself, I was really just using it as a fast and fun way to format the drive, but that's that.

now if only I could figure out how to get that broken key back, onto the keyboard . . . i think it's hopeless.
