just a silly poll post

I'm a new linux user--I'm on Ubuntu and have been windows-free for a few months now.

What I'm curious about is if I'm always going to have this absurd affection for Ubuntu, and if it's because it was my 'virgin' distro. So, what were your first distros, what year, and what is your residual impression of it?
