Howdy. I am new to using and installing linux. Currently I am trying to install Mandrake 10.1 next to Windows XP (dual-load). The installation process seems to go fine until the "Summary" section comes up, at which time nothing happens. After waiting for about an hour, I rebooted my system and then tried to load linux. However, it always fails when trying to load eth0. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

EDIT: I'm going to amend this problem. After unhooking my machine from the LAN, the loading of Linux works fine until it tries to start the "CUPS printing system," afterwhich it just hangs. The message displayed is "Starting CUPS printing system: Disabling IRQ#20."
