Hax0rs at work?
Oddness ensues.
I recently (month or so ago) opened my router to send port 22 connections
to my desktop for SSH access from the road. Checking /var/log/warn
revealed several (100+) login attempts from two different IP addresses.
This is alarming, but is even more alarming when I find out that lastb
reveals nothing. No such file or directory.
Should I be very concerned? I've disabled SSH logins, but now I'm a bit
worried. What's the general consensus?
