More Install Problems with SuSE 9.2

I have an ATI Radeon 8500 LE card in the system I'm trying to install SuSE 9.2 on. The first time I did the install it detected the card as
  • ATI R200 QL ( radeon ) Connected to Monitor: ADI MONITOR [ 1280x1024@16 bit]
  • Display Environment: Single Head
  • 3D Acceleration: Disabled
I left it as what it detected thinking the software knew best. HOwever when the install finished and it booted into Linux the display went black. I couldn't make any changes. So, knowing nothing about linux, I put the "Install From The Internet" boot CD back in and 6 hours later I'm at the spot where it's detected the same card. I have the option to change the card, but my 8500 LE is not in the list. Only cards close to it are 7500, 7500-7146, 7500 LE and 9000. I'm not sure which driver to go with, as I don't want to repeat the 6 hour install again.

Thoughts?

Edit:

After reading one of the sites that was posted as a comment I decided to go with the Radeon 9000 driver as it was in the same family as the 8500 LE (Direct 8, I think). I also had to select a monitor. Of course my monitor wasn't listed so I picked some random monitor and tested until I got a config that looked right. Yay. I'm up and running SuSE 9.2 now. Only took 48 hours. Now... to learn how to use the sucker...

Thanks for all those that helped.
