ADSL with D-Link DSL200 Modem Setup

Hello, I've recently started signed up for ADSL with TPG and received a D-Link DSL200 modem. Now it works fine under Windows, however, I don't know how to make it work in Linux. I'm using Debian, and when I click on ADSL/PPPOE button in KDE's menu it says that my ethernet interface is not autodetected or something so it cannot start the ADSL/PPPOE config.

Can someone point me in the right direction as to how to (easily) solve this problem? Thanks in advance.

edit: got eciadsl installed and FINALLY got it going by downloading a .bin synchronisation file from another TPG user. Yippies! :D
