Clustering
Need some feedback concerning the creation of a linux cluster. I am thinking of doing an independent study or senior design project that deals with multiprocessing, and creating a Linux cluster might be the cheapest way to go about this.
I've heard it's a pain, but is it really? What skill level would be necessary? Would it easily consume about four months of research and troubleshooting, or might it take less than that? Aside from having three or so computers for a minimum system size, will I have to invest in much else than switches or routers?
