i tried to install gaim instant messenger with the mandrake rpm file, and it asked me to instert a dvd disc to ocmplete installation. i tried to install the official aim client for mandrake from aim.com, and it did the same thing. both said it'd install mjultiple rpm files of which only one existed. what's going on?

also, i installed bittorrent earlier and it seemed to work perfectly, except no icon in the start menu. i snagged a torrent file and it won't open and doesnt see bittorrent as a program.

i must be doing something wrong with my installations. i've just been double-clicking the rpm's and it installs for me. what am i doing wrong?
