mp3 editor

So I've got an mp3 file that is about seven minutes long. I need about three minutes from the middle (the song in hte middle is "KIll a Kitten" by Stephen Lynch and can be found as a bonus track on his album "A little Bit Special" . . . good stuff). I thought audacity would pull that out, but apparently it doesn't support mp3 editing. You can export other formats AS mp3 using Lame, but that's not the same thing.

So any recomendations for applications that will let me easily edit an mp3? Preferably something that has a nice graphical interface so I can see where the song stops and starts (audacity was great that way).

I'm using FC3, in case anyone forgot (though I'm going Debian very soon).
