prodikeys

I have a Creative Prodikeys (piano/keyboard hybrid) that would be nice to put to some sort of use in linux. I don't expect to play music on it, but 40 extra key bindings would be great.

xev does not respond to any of the unusual keys (piano keys, pitch bend, and "fun" button), so that puts me out of ideas. Is there any way to capture whatever signals it's sending, or at least, look at them? It's all through ps/2, if that's any help.
