this sounds like a real n00bish question. but anyways.

i got dropline, and i also changed my x keymap. i dont know which is the cause of the problem, but i think its the change in the keymap.

anyways. onto the problem.

before, i used to be able to type ctrl+atl+f1/f2/f3/f4 to get into a console terminal. now it doesnt work. ... yeah...

ive tried messing with my xmodmap file and changing the keys for ctrl, atl, and the f keys.

any ideas?

i use slack 10.1, btw. actually.. that too. i might have stopped working when i upgraded to 10.1. anyone else have this problem when doing any of the following?

ok, i solved it. in the .xmodmodmap file, for all of the f* keys, u have to also put XF86_Switch_VT_x x=whichever vt u want.
