New anti MS Windows campaign: Linux Saves Your Mouse
In response to the FUD that MS have been serving up via google ads recently...
I'm sitting on a windows box and needed to copy a picture link from IE to MSNm.
Procedure:
1. right click on picture
2. select properties
3. highlight the address
4. right click
5. select copy
6. close properties
7. click on task bar entry for MSNm
8. right click
9. select paste
10. click send
In linux to copy from Firefox to Gaim...
1. Right click on picture
2. Select copy picture address
3. Click on Gaim's thumbnail in the desktop manager
4. Middle click in Gaim's window
5 Click Send
That's half as many mouse clicks wearing out your mouse's button. Hence my new campaign.
You know it makes sense.
