Packet sniffing thanks and whole disk encryption
This post is a two parter...
First, my thanks to everyone who responded to the packet monitoring question. You all gave lots of good information...including that I was making it out to be harder than it really was! Some analysis is now set up for my client, and he's happy. Oh, and for anyone who is interested, no, no one is in danger of being fired. He's just having a bottleneck at certain times of day, wants to see what the problem is, and at worst would ask employees to knock off certain activities at certain times of day.
And second, a new question.
I've bought a new laptop computer. It gets delivered Thursday morning. Obviously the first operation will be to remove Windows and install an OS that works :-)
Is anyone familiar with or aware of any "whole disk" encryption products that work with Linux besides the one from Compusec that runs on very limited distributions?
