Linux Vs Windows
Suprisingly running Linux Ubuntu for a few weeks has given me a better appreciation for windows. The biggest benefit of windows is that pretty much everything is written for it. Think about if Linux, OS X, and XP were all pretty much equally used and how hard this would be for software distrobutions.
The package system for updates in linux is pretty neat but I much prefer the download and double click of windows.
I just am finding linux pretty confusing. The websites often have instructions that are out of date or not correct. Plus with all the different distros it just get really confusing.
As far as linux being more stable. I donno, I managed to completely crash it this week, I had never completely crashed a windows system when I started using them.
PS. I'm not trying to piss people off so don't take it that way. I'm gonna continue learning linux because I'm a noob. I love the idea of linux and the fact that it is more secure.
