languages
How do I make other programs to appear in different languages? On my Mac, I have it set to be in Romanian as the primary language, with German and English as the secondary and tertiary languages respectively. When I run gaim or dia on my Mac, they appear in Romanian. When I run bluefish on my Mac, it appears in German with the GTK widgets in Romanian.
So here's the linux aspect of the question. I have Kubuntu on a Dell P3, and KDE is in Romanian with German and English as in the Mac configuration mentioned above. The KDE apps appear in Romanian, but the GTK widgets and other linux programs appear in English. How can I get them to appear in Romanian? For example, both machines have Gaim 1.5.0, and it is in Romanian on my Mac but not on the Linux box. Also, the env command on my Mac does not reveal any language environment variables, and the gaim preference files do not have anything with regard to languages. Any ideas?
