bunnies and DNS issues
This is technically not a Linux question, I'll admit. But I'm confident you guys (and gals) can help me out here.
I'm a fan of the webcomic the bunny system, but I'm having problems getting to it. Whenever I use a link or type it myself, Firefox (and even IE) act like the site doesn't exist. They say check the name and try again. I try ping'ing the site: nothing. I have an account on a remote Unix server, so I SSH over there and try to ping it: all good. I got the IP of the site and stuck it straight into the browser and I get what looks like the business that hosts the site. The name (and IP) escapes me at the moment, but suffice it to say, it's not a direct IP to the site.
So I'm trying to figure if it's a problem with my internet service or a problem on my local box? I've tried this in both Windoze and Linux, and both have the same problems. My DNS servers are assigned to me automatically from my cable modem.
Any ideas anyone?
