New to linux and need help

First of all, my computer is set up with two SATA hard drives set up in RAID 0 and one ATA drive. I had Windows XP installed on the RAID setup and I wanted to install SuSE 10.0 on the ATA drive and have a dual boot system. However, when i was installing, several problems arose. When i installed the Grub bootloader, I installed it so it replaced the existing MBR (I later found out that was a bad idea, and i reinstalled it on a floppy drive). Then, linux brought up an error message saying how it did not work with the software raid configuration (Fast Track on an asus motherboard) It read the raid 0 setup as two separate drives. When I rebooted the computer for the first time, i found that there was no way to get into windows. I tried to use YaST to add the windows partition to the bootloader, but since it read the raid as 2 drives it did not work. I tried to restore the MBR by using the windows cd to go into the repair mode and use fixmbr, but once i typed in the command it just skipped a line and nothing happened. Right now, i've given up on trying to get them to work together and i am trying to reinstall windows and get my files from my backup drive. However, windows setup does not read the raid hard drives. In the setup process, it asked me to insert the floppy disk with the manufacturer's drivers. Unfortunately, mine were on a cd.

I would be most grateful for any suggestions.
