Tracing SMTP?
How can I monitor a conversation between my email server (postfix on Fedora FC4) and my ISP?
I've tried increasing the debug_peer_level to 9 and setting debug_peer_list to the domain where I'm sending my test email (both in /etc/postfix/main.cf) but I don't see any extra output. (Oh, and I did restart postfix too.)
I'm trying to work out why, since upgrading from FC3 to FC4, I now can't send any email out. (Receiving is fine.) [More about that problem here.]
