Linux still sucks.

I didn't have a computer for about a year there as I was travelling. I came back, got a new Dell laptop, and threw Ubuntu 5.10 on there. My wireless network card didn't work. I went to Dell's website to download a Linux driver for my wireless network card. No Linux driver for my wireless network card. No Linux drivers at all. Searched Google. Same deal. No drivers.
I'm a dumb computer user. I don't know all this fancy stuff. All I know is that Windows generally works, and if it fails to identify a device, I can get the driver easily. To me, the dumb computer user, this means that Linux Still Sucks.
(Don't give me that "Linux is a kernel, not as OS" crap. You know damn well what I mean.)
