Large files in vsftpd

The FAQ for vsftp says it can handle files over 2GB, but when someone tries to send me a fairly large file, about 500MB, through the Windows command prompt. Windows comes back and says the connection was terminated on my end, but I've been here all along. Unfortunately, I'm a little ignorant right now and have *no* idea where the log file for this thing is. I'm using V.2.0.3-r1 (emerged on a Gentoo box). Maybe the Windows implementation can't handle large files? Ideas? Help?
