An Odd Request
I have one of those bosses who likes to pry into what I'm doing on my machine. Hey, who doesn't? The one thing going for me in my favor is that he knows less than I do about pretty much anything dealing with computers, including Linux (And I know very very little).
So, one thing I'd like to try out would be to have a script or some such operation that just spits any old information out on my screen constantly until I cancel it. Why you ask? Because when I'm reading a manual or some such information online, he's constantly asking me what I am doing (because apparently I don't look busy enough). So... if anyone has any ideas as to how I can have some benign script running that makes it APPEAR as though the linux shell is working on something REALLY complex (to a layman of course) I'm all ears. ;)
