creating wav or mp3 files from cassette tape
I wonder if anyone has done this or knows how.
I've got a 1/8 male/male audio cable to link a cassette player to my audio input. Fine.
Whati need ot do is figure out how to get the sounds from point a (the tape) to point b (a file). I'm running fedora core 4 and I have mplayer, which should be able to do this sort of thing with some help. Any thoughts?
Use another application? What's my best bet here? I'm basically running a default instal of fedora core 4 (more or less) but I've just never done anyhting like this before. Is there a tutorial my googling missed?
