ok, a domain name issue here. Quick history. I have lost probably about 10 different domains because I have not paid the bills. No worries there.

Today in March 2006 I have been paying my bills and one of my register says I own eight domains, all expiring in six months. Good deal right? No, two of the domains actually expired in January and where transfered! I was never sent an email, and their system showed I have them with expirations of December this year. Basically their system had some programming problem (bug) that caused this. So the way I see it, the register helped me lose my intellectual property. Straight up. They fu**ed me. Anyone think I have a chance at getting the domain names back, through this policy? Of course I think the register should work with me in doing this and pay any fees necessary.

And if they can't, I take them to arbitration or court for them to pay me for my loss of the domains. .?

fast forward to april and May of last week.

i sued them (register.com) in small claims court for $3000.00. Two days before court the attorney calls and wants to settle for $500.00
I say nope, at least $1000.00 for loss of both domains and I will think about it.
They agreed and I have a check in the mail for $1000.00
I wonder how many other people at register.com lost their domain names though? The other people might want to look into a class action suit against them.
