Alright, so I'm a Linux newbie.
I just installed Ubuntu 5.10 and I need to install a driver so I can use this Belkin wireless adapter. However, when prompted with a password in Terminal, after typing a sudo command (well ANY command that requires authetication, for that matter), I'm unable to see any masked text (asterisks or bullets...whatever the password is masked with). I even proceed to type the password, thinking that not showing anything at all on the terminal might be some security feature, but that left me with:
