Sort of a Linux problem...

Any ideas as to why printing with a mac to a CUPS server on a linux box is so slow?

Seriously... Going to printer setup takes like 5 minutes to get ANY information.

Printing from a linux box to the CUPS server works flawlessly, and is utterly instantaneous.
