my lease isn't renewing... or something. i don't know much about what's going on, but i know my connection just went away. it doesn't seem to make any sence, i looked at /var/log/daemon.log but i couldn't make any sence about it. i don't know exactly when it happened.
i'm using pump currently, i haven't stuck it in any script, or init file, and i'm only using it because dhcpclient doesn't work outside of kernel 2.2.20. so... two possible solutions (so that this never happens again) would be to get dhcpclient working for kernel 2.4.18, (and subsequently learn how to make it work for any kernel... or something) or just make pump renew the lease correctly. i don't know why i'm having problmes... i've been up for 9+ days and this hasn't happened. maybe i just shouldn't play with pump... *shrug*
