Linux Laptop

I'm heading back to school in August and I'm about to buy a new laptop. Is there anything special that I should look for to be sure that it is compatible with Linux? I'm pretty sure I'll be running Ubuntu. I'm most concerned with compatibility with my wireless card. Right now I have my eyes on a Dell Latitude D620. Thanks.
