While playing around with the oft-unused textmessage function of my cellular telephone, I noticed for the "address" line of where to send the text message to, there are shortcuts to add Top-level-domain things (like ".com" ".net" ".edu") and assumed that there is a valid way of sending a text message to a website. Now, i'm running a webserver, and I'm thinking, "hey, i wonder if there is any way that I can get MY server to be able to accept text messages."

anyone have any idea if this is even possible?

and if it is, what software packages would I need?
