Hey Folks,
I've been an avid linux user since the late 90's, and have kept up with the recent major distros as much as possible. However, I'm having a really hard time deciding on what to install on a new D620 that I was given to use at work. I'm never been a big fan of KDE or GNome (because I feel they're too bloated for the power user) I have Blackbox running on one machine at home, and WindowMaker on another. I'm a big fan of a minimalistic environment, and would like to keep my working environment that way as well.
I'm not afraid of rebuilding kernels, or getting down and dirty with unsupported modules for devices, or modules that need to be compiled.
Suggestions?
Update: Just to be clear... I'm looking at distro suggestions. :)
Thanks!
