*.exe dissector
Our wedding was enough trouble, but now the photographer has given us photo proofs in the form of a *.exe that you run on your Windows box. It comes up with a (primitive) slideshow and you can see your photos and write down numbers to reference the ones you keep.
Thing is, it's truly a royal pain in the ass. You can see only one picture at a time, and we're talking over 200 photos here. Not a fun way to parse through wedding pictures.
I know someone has made something that I need. I know that, somewhere in that file, is the repository of pictures that we're interested in. And I'm sure the file has this nice pattern that tells the beginning of each picture. I just want to dissect the *.exe and pull out all the pictures so we can look at them normally (compare one against the other, see a few at the same time, etc...).
How do I take this single monolithic file and pull out the pictures?
