World of Warcraft thru WINE
Does anyone here have any experience on getting WoW to run correctly? I've read so many how-to's, that I'm starting to confuse myself. I am using wine-0.9.29, and the majority of the instructions came from WineHQ. I was able to get the program installed and download/install all the updates. Actually, that all was painless. Now, I envoke WoW, through WINE (either by menu, or terminal), and it loads up. I sign in, and it pulls my character sheet. I select, and I get the loading screen. Right before it would actually show you the world, it all closes, and I'm back at my desktop.
To be honest, I'm not sure where to start looking...or what to look for. This is the first time I've tried this. I am running Kubuntu 6.10 (edgy), with NVidia GeForce2 MX/MX 400 (using the legacy drivers). If someone could point me in the right direction, I would be very thankful. I would love to figure this out.
