Advice for those who use java6 and maybe netbeans

I am using java 6 and netbeans under Ubuntu Linux and so far the fonts and the look and feel do not look so great. Java 6 has native gtk fonts and theme support and it would be nice to enable it so netbeans looks as good as Eclipse.

Is there a command switch for java 6 to enable gtk look and feel for swing apps? Also is there a missing feature in netbeans I did not see perhaps?
