I'm unbelievably ecstatic about finding the Guifications plug-in for Gaim, since the lack of visual notifications was driving me insane. Go me!
And on a "mildly related to the unrelated thing" thing (huh?), is anyone using an LJ client better than Drivel? Because I'm using it and it's like a Poor Man's Semagic. It won't even let me do ctrl-m and insert a link. It's really sad. It also won't come back to my default journal after posting on a community, it only shows me thumbnails of my icons, and doesn't have a preview feature. Like I said, it's really, really sad.
