This should be simple, but...
Okay, I've got a little problem and Google has failed me (or my search skills are shot).
I bought a Pinnacle PCTV USB 2 (which IS supported in Linux). It shows up as an em28xx device with a saa7115 Closed Caption device and uses USB audio (More on this in a minute). I plugged it in and after digging out a pair of rabbit ears, I was able to get TV picture, but no sound.
My output sound card is a SoundBlaster Live (emu10k1) and I've turned on all inputs and outputs I can find (And there are a LOT) and turn them all up. The only effect was a hich-pitched single-tone whine (Like when a mic is too close to a speaker). I switched devices between my SB and the PCTV USB2 (It shows as an available sound device) and made sure its only option (PCM) was turned up, but still I get no audio. I'm running kernel 2.6.20.10, but I've got most modules compiled (as modules) so I could get this far. The audio driver seems to be snd_usb_audio.
I know I'm missing something but I can't find out what it could be.
