Sorry to keep posting...
So, still having issues with configuring these old TI-laptops.
Debian for some reason gives me a big screen flicker problem (I could configure this if I were running X, but I'm not. Even the initial boot sequence has the issue)
Damn Small Linux keeps maxing out the processor, and is giving me difficulties with the install...
I'd really just like to have a tiny bootable distribution that just boots up to a bash console, and allows me to use VIM.
What am I looking for?
Edit:ttylinux worked out. I had a bit of confusion in determining where the CD-ROM needed to be mounted from, but after solving that, ttylinux installed quickly and easily. Thanks for the help!
