that blend issue on window tabs is different on FC5 and FC6

I had posted about this a couple days ago, but someone pointed out that it works better with screenshots. I made a theme that works for me. On my work system, running fc5 it works just the way I like, but on my home system running fc6, it enforces a color blend, that I don't want, I want the tabs to be monochrom.

I set up a theme I like on my work computer running fedora core 5 using BII window decorations:

The problem is that when I run it at home, on fc6 the tabs have a vertical blend on the window tabs that I can't make go away:

Is this something that can be fixed short of upgrading to a new version of fedora? Is the file that would control the tab colors in BII in a compiled file? Or an ascii file that I could edit?

The theme I used on both systems is in http://red4est.com/lrc/pix/screenshots/ as lrcw03
The directory themes go into is
~/.kde/share/apps/kthememanager/themes
