bizarre wiki behavior
Ubuntu Fiesty system. Just installed Mediawiki and tweaked the config files so that I can say "host/wiki/" instead of "host/mediawiki/".
Things were working fine, I could say "localhost/wiki/" and it looked great. I could use my DynDNS redirect "hippiehouse.homelinux.net/wiki" and it worked. That was about an hour ago.
N-O-W...
The localhost method works fine still, but now whenever I use my DynDNS redirect, I get an "unable to connect" error. The bizarre part is that hippiehouse.homelinux.net works fine, but as soon as I tack on that "/wiki" at the end, it chokes.
What the frag is going on???
ETA: My ISP, Verizon, is apparently blocking incoming requests to port 80. This was an Apache issue and not a Mediawiki issue. I'm now listening on a different port and things are just dandy now. Thanks, Verizon.
