Dlink EBR-2310 router and ssh
Preface, this may not be the best place for this, but it somewhat connects to Linux.
Bought a Dlink EBR-2310 router a week ago. Trying to get my Debian ssh server to respond to contact from beyond my NAT. Port forwarded port 22 on the router to the Debian ssh server, and setup a "virtual host" pointing to the server. Neither of which is working.
Does anyone have experience getting an ssh server to work with the Dlink EBR-2310? Is there a hidden feature I need to enable, disable?
Does anyone have experience with their ISP blocking ssh? Either via port rules, or stateful packet inspection?
Ideally, I'd like to use this consumer router instead of an industrial strength router.
Thanks for reading, and pointers any of you may have.
