Linux credit cards?

Slashdot has an article today about Linux Fund credit cards. I'm not sure how I feel about this. On one hand I'm no fan of credit cards. On the other I'm for anything that supports Linux and FOSS. If I wasn't so credit phobic I would probably apply for one. Of course I would feel obligated to immediately use it to purchase a Linux machine from Dell or System76.
