Extract ghost image

I had a failing drive. I got someone on campus to test it, and he made me an image of it. It's a Norton Ghost image. How can I extract the data from this image? I'm hoping not to have to use the Windows free trial of Ghost to try to get the data. Any ideas? I've got backups that should be pretty close to complete, but I'd rather get the original.
