Open source software supplier for schools chosen in Russia

On November 30th the results of the tender to choose the developer and supplier of the open source software to Russian schools were announced. The winner is the company Armada uniting a consortium consisting of other six companies. Till 2008 end the winner will have to provide 50% of town and 20% of rural schools in three pilot regions with the open source software.
