Old IBM Thinkpad
So, I recently received an old IBM thinkpad. I am fairly certain that it is either a 486 or a P1. It lacks a CD-ROM drive, and I need to find a power cord for it. However, there is a 3 1/2 floppy drive. I was wondering if anyone knew of a modern distribution of Linux that I can load by floppy, and then use a network card to install other packages. I have no real preference as for the distro type (RPM/TGZ/DEB/Source). Also, I am somewhat certain that the Thinkpad has at least 8MB RAM, and around 1GB HD. No clue as to the Bus speeds.
