Synergy + Wine + Visual Studio
So I've got a bit of an interesting problem.
I was rather pleased to discover that Visual Studio 6.0, specifically Visual C++ 6.0, runs on Wine with a "silver" rating since at least 0.9.45. This is a required piece of software for my programming class, and I just eliminated a major use I had for Windows/VMware by installing Visual C++ on Linux.
However, I also use the Synergy keyboard and mouse sharing program, and when I open a source file in Visual C++ with Synergy running, Wine crashes with a BadAtom error from the X server. If I stop synergy and use my laptop's builtin keyboard and mouse everything works great.
So have I just found a bug that I should tell the Wine people about or is there something I can try first before filing over at winehq.org?
