IPOD troubles

so my folks just got me an IPOD for my birthday, which is wonderful because I'm having a hard time controlling my 90+ gig music collection. Unforanetly, its one of the brand new 160gb ipods, and it seems that apple has changed something around, and none of the programs (i've tried amarok, gtkpod, and rhythmbox) can put music on it. I've gone into my windows partition and used itunes to set it up, and it can put music on it fine, but all my music is on my linux partition. soooo I need either

A) a way to put music on my ipod from linux (PREFFERRED)
B) a way to access my linux partition from windows XP (I've tried http://www.fs-driver.org/ and it didn't work for me)
